Ganesh Rajendra Gite, born on July 28, 2002, in Naygao, Nashik, Maharashtra, currently resides in Bramhan, Nashik. Hailing from a farming family, his father Rajendra Gite and mother Mangal Rajendra Gite instilled in him the values of hard work and perseverance. Ganesh shares a close bond with his younger brother, Prasad Rajendra Gite, who also shares his passion for kabaddi. Ganesh's journey in kabaddi commenced during his college years at the age of 18, where he discovered his knack for the sport. Primarily excelling as a left raider, Ganesh showcases remarkable skills in executing hand touches, making him a formidable opponent on the mat. Under the mentorship of coach Samadhan Gite at Sahamitra Club Nashik, Ganesh refines his technique and hones his gameplay. Admiring the finesse of Akash Shinde, Ganesh looks up to him for his exceptional toe touch maneuvers. Despite his modest beginnings, Ganesh has represented Maharashtra in the 2022 state championship, demonstrating his prowess on the kabaddi field. One of Ganesh's career highlights includes a pivotal moment in a local match where he executed the last raid, leading his team to victory.
