Vaibhav Waghmode

Vaibhav Adhikrao Waghmode, born on October 16, 2003, hails from Karad, Maharashtra, and currently resides in Kasegaon. Born into a farming family, his father, Adhikrao Waghmode, and mother, Asha Adhikrao Waghmode, instilled in him values of hard work and determination. Vaibhav shares a close bond with his elder brother, Ashish Adhikrao Waghmode, who also shares his passion for kabaddi. Discovering his love for the sport at the tender age of 10 during his school days, Vaibhav quickly found his niche as a left cover defender. Renowned for his impeccable bonus moves, Vaibhav's skillset is honed under the guidance of coach Vaibhav Patil at Rajaram Bappu Vayam Mandal. Inspired by the blocking prowess of Jiva Kumar, Vaibhav aspires to emulate his hero's techniques on the kabaddi mat. Having represented his state in the Junior Nationals 2022, Vaibhav continues to pursue his college graduation degree in SY BA. With ambitions set high, Vaibhav dreams of making a mark in the professional kabaddi circuit, harboring aspirations of competing in prestigious leagues like the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). With his dedication, talent, and unwavering resolve, Vaibhav is poised to leave an indelible impact on the world of kabaddi, aiming to shine on the national stage and beyond.
