Prem Mandal

Prem Siraj Mandal, born on July 4, 2005, in Virar City, Maharashtra, showcases resilience and determination both on and off the kabaddi mat. Alongside his younger brother Vishal, who pursues engineering, Prem navigates life's challenges while pursuing his passion for kabaddi. Introduced to the sport at the age of 16, Prem initially played as a Right Cover Defender but found his niche in executing impeccable Front Blocks under the guidance of coach Lata Bhagat Panchal. Inspired by his coach's legacy, having represented India in the 1st Asian Cup and being a Chhatrapati Award recipient, Prem aspires to emulate her raiding style and mastery of bonus skills. Though his heart lies in kabaddi, Prem's career path diverges as he flourishes as a freelance gym fitness trainer in Mumbai. His accolades include notable representations at various levels, including Junior and Senior State tournaments and the Yuva Kabaddi Series. Despite preferring cricket as his favorite sport beyond kabaddi, Prem remains steadfast in his ambition to represent Maharashtra, India, and eventually grace the Pro Kabaddi arena. With a commitment to securing a stable job to support his family, Prem embodies perseverance and dreams of scaling greater heights in both his personal and professional endeavors.
