Piyush Mangesh Patil, born on October 5, 2004, originates from Wada Palghar, Maharashtra, currently residing in Khanivali Palghar. His father, Mangesh Patil, serves in the fire brigade, while his mother, Mamta Mangesh Patil, is a dedicated teacher. Growing up with his younger sister Disha, Piyush found his passion for kabaddi at the age of 14, during his school years. Specializing as a Right Corner Defender, Piyush's gameplay is defined by his impeccable Ankle Hold technique, a skill he perfected under the guidance of coach Mitesh Patil at Kuldayvat Khanewali. He draws inspiration from kabaddi stalwart Nitin Madhane, particularly admiring his expertise in executing Bonus moves. Piyush's remarkable journey in kabaddi includes clinching the gold medal at the Sub Junior National in 2018 held in Patna, Bihar, followed by participation in the Junior National event in 2023 held in Tamil Nadu. Beyond kabaddi, Piyush harbors a keen interest in cricket and actively participates in other sports.
