Pratik Jadhav, born on December 5, 2002, hails from Mandavi in Nanded District, Maharashtra, but currently calls Virar, Mumbai, his home. His father, Sanjay, earns his livelihood through farming, while his mother, Godavari, manages the household with care. With an elder brother named Kaustubh, Pratik's journey in sports began at the age of 11, finding his passion in kabaddi and later excelling in volleyball. Favoring the position of Right Raider, Pratik's gameplay is marked by his exceptional Hand Touch technique, honed under the mentorship of coach Ramchandra Dhawan at Shriram Kabaddi Sangh in Virar. Pratik's admiration for his own skills drives his ambition, believing in his ability to propel himself forward in the game. Pratik's achievements in kabaddi include representing his district and university teams at various tournaments, notably securing the 3rd position at the 2024 Ashwamedh University Games in Raigad. His team bagged the third position at the 48th Junior State Championship. And he has also participated in the Junior National Championship that happened at Haridwar. Alongside his kabaddi pursuits, Pratik also indulges in volleyball, showcasing his versatility in sports. Currently pursuing his BA degree, Pratik harbors aspirations to compete in the Pro Kabaddi League and represent Team India, fueled by his unwavering determination and dedication to the game.
