Abhinay Singh

Abhinay Singh, born on December 4, 2001, in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, currently resides in Nalasopara, Palghar, Maharashtra, where he passionately pursues kabaddi as a member of the Palghar team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Despite hailing from a non-kabaddi background, Abhinay discovered his love for the sport at the age of 18, inspired by watching his elder brother play. Excelling as a Right Corner Defender, he has mastered the Ankle Hold technique under the guidance of coach Lata Panchal at Icchashakti Krida Mandal. Abhinay's dedication and skill have earned him recognition in various competitions, including the Inter College Mumbai Zonal University Matches in Dadar, where he secured the first position in 2023 and 2024. Outside of kabaddi, Abhinay enjoys playing chess and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Gaurav Khatri from Puneri Paltan serves as his role model, with Abhinay admiring his exceptional skills. With aspirations to compete at the Nationals and International level, Abhinay remains committed to honing his talents and making a mark in the world of kabaddi.
