Palvinder Singh, born on October 1, 2005, in Una, Himachal Pradesh, has woven a captivating tale of ambition and talent in the world of kabaddi. Growing up in a close-knit family, with father Rajeev Kumar running a business and mother Rakesh Kumari managing the home, Palvinder found inspiration in sports at an early age. Watching his idol Surender Singh, a renowned player in the Pro Kabaddi League, sparked his passion for the game when he was just 14 years old. Training under the guidance of coach Rishav Kumar at the Rudra Academy, Palvinder honed his skills over four years, becoming particularly adept at the Bonus skill. His dedication paid off as he earned a spot in the Junior National Level competition, proudly representing Himachal Pradesh. Participating in the Yuva Khelotsav in Winter 2022 with the Kaziranga Rhinos marked another milestone in his journey. Currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts degree in his first year, Palvinder balances education and athletics with great enthusiasm. His future aspirations are clear—to represent India on the international stage and bring home a medal. With a strong determination and a love for running hand touch and running kick, Palvinder is on a path towards greatness.
