Born on May 13, 2004, Vignesh discovered his passion for kabaddi at the tender age of 14, inspired by the remarkable players from his village. As a Right Raider, he brings a unique energy to the mat, quickly establishing himself through sheer determination and skill. Family is the backbone of Vignesh's journey. His father, Murugesan, works tirelessly in a private company, while his mother, Jhansi Rani, dedicates herself to managing their household. He shares a warm relationship with his elder sister, Sowmya. Currently, Vignesh is balancing his love for kabaddi with his studies, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications. Under the watchful eye of his coach, Pramod Kumar, at the SAI facility in Pondicherry, he has honed his skills, particularly his ability to score bonus points—a signature move that makes him stand out. With dreams of joining the Pro Kabaddi League, Vignesh has already made a mark by participating in the Junior Nationals in 2024 and the Yuva Kabaddi Series. Inspired by his idol, Pawan Sehrawat, he aims to reach great heights in the sport and make his family proud.
