Mithun was born on January 20, 2002, in the serene town of Mandi, nestled in Himachal Pradesh. Growing up in a humble household, his father, Amar Singh, worked as a construction supervisor, while his mother, Sharda Devi, dedicated herself to serving meals at a government school. Mithun shares his life with an elder brother and sister. Mithun's journey into the world of kabaddi began at the age of 16 when he found himself captivated by the matches he watched on television. The dynamic play and the thrill of the game sparked a desire in him to step onto the field. Dreaming of being on TV himself, he started training under Coach Divender Singh Kohli. With a strong focus on his skills, Mithun flourished as an all-rounder, specializing in the right raider and right cover defender positions. One of his standout abilities is the Second Toe Touch, and he enjoys using his favorite running kick to outmaneuver opponents. His dedication paid off in events like the Khelo India Games, where his team earned a bronze medal. Looking ahead, Mithun aspires to shine in the Pro Kabaddi League and hopes to serve in the armed forces one day, embodying the spirit of resilience and determination.
