Mandeep was born on March 26, 2005, in the vibrant city of Gurgaon, Haryana. Growing up in a supportive family, he was raised by his father Tularam, a hardworking farmer, and his mother Neelam, a dedicated homemaker. With an elder sister, Preethi, cheering him on from the sidelines, Mandeep found the encouragement he needed to chase his kabaddi dreams. His passion for kabaddi ignited at the age of 16, inspired by his uncle, who was an avid player. Mandeep stepped onto the mat as a Right Raider and trained tirelessly at the Future Fighter Kabaddi Academy in Gurgaon. Under the mentorship of well-respected coaches like Anup Kumar and Pradeep Kumar, he developed his skills, particularly shining with his exceptional bonus techniques. Mandeep holds a deep admiration for Anup Kumar, not just for his gameplay but for the inspiring way he leads on the field. Representing the Murthal Magnets in the Yuva Kabaddi Series during the Monsoon and Winter Editions of 2022, Mandeep also made a notable impact at the 49th Junior Nationals, helping his team in securing third place. Now in the 11th standard, his dream is to wear the national jersey and represent India in kabaddi, while continually honing his hand touch skill. Mandeep hopes to inspire young athletes just as his uncle inspired him, showing them that with dedication, dreams can become reality.
