Shubham was born in Delhi on September 29, 2003, and he grew up with a deep admiration for kabaddi, largely inspired by his father, Rambir Singh, a Pro Kabaddi Official. With no siblings to share the attention, Shubham focused all his energy on becoming a formidable player. His journey in kabaddi began at the age of 16, with his father being his first coach, guiding him with passion and expertise. Currently residing in Delhi, Shubham trains at the JD Academy in Greater Noida, molding himself into a skilled Right Raider. His signature move is the hand touch, a technique he has perfected through hours of dedication and hard work. Influenced by the incredible talent of his favorite player, Naveen Kumar, Shubham strives to emulate the speed and finesse seen in high-level kabaddi. Over the years, he has made his mark in various tournaments, winning a bronze medal at the Khelo India tournament and proudly representing Delhi at the Junior National Championships. While he dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League and representing India, he also values education, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Physical Education. Shubham's aspirations extend beyond sports; he hopes to build a stable career while making an impactful contribution to the sport he adores.
