R Guhan, born on July 29, 2000, hails from Mettupatti, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, where he currently resides. His father, Raju, works as a Driver, while his mother, Gomati, is a dedicated Homemaker. Guhan, described as a confident individual with curly hair, has a sibling, and though not mentioned, they share a close bond. Inspired by senior players in his village, Guhan commenced his kabaddi journey at the age of 17, showcasing versatility as an All Rounder. He adeptly maneuvers as a Right Raider and a Left Corner Defender, with his exceptional jumping skills setting him apart on the court. Under the guidance of Suryamurthi at Tirupur RSG Academy, Guhan refined his kabaddi prowess during his college years. He draws inspiration from Pankaj Mohite of Puneri Paltan in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), admiring his diverse skill set encompassing jumps, touches, and evasions. Guhan's achievements include representing his university in the South Zone University tournaments in 2023 and participating in the Junior State competitions in 2019.
