Meet Navpreet Singh, an enthusiastic young kabaddi player hailing from Ganganagar, Rajasthan. Born on August 25, 2003, he grew up in a loving household, supported by his father, Gurtej Singh, a hardworking farmer, and his mother, Rajvinder Kaur, who created a warm home environment. As the youngest of three, with two elder sisters, Avdeep and Kirandeep, Navpreet often felt the encouragement of his family. Navpreet's fascination with kabaddi began at the age of 15, inspired by the spirited games played in his village. His training journey kicked off under coach Jagmohan Singh at Nagaur Stadium from 2020 to 2021, and he is currently refining his skills with coach Sohanlal Godara. As an all-rounder, he boasts impressive capabilities in both left cover defense and right raiding, excelling particularly with his thigh hold and a love for jumping. In 2023, Navpreet proudly represented Rajasthan at the All India Federation Cup, where he clinched a bronze medal. He has also showcased his talent in the Yuva Kabaddi Series. Looking to the future, he dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League and securing a position with the Indian Railways. Motivated by the strength of his idol, Maninder Singh, Navpreet is eager to embrace every challenge that comes his way.
