Born on June 30, 2006, in the vibrant city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, Vishnu comes from a loving family. He is the youngest of four siblings, with two elder brothers and one elder sister. His father, Pokhar Mal Sahu, manages a business, while his mother, Gangadevi, dedicates her time as a homemaker. His journey into kabaddi began at the tender age of seven, thanks to a classmate named Akash who introduced him to the game. Fast forward to now, he proudly plays as a Right Cover Defender and excels in his favorite move, the Chain Tackle. His training at Choughan Stadium has been guided by coaches like Dr. Dinesh Choudhary, Sohanlal Choudhary and Coach Rameshwar shaping his skills and boosting his confidence on the mat. One of his proudest moments was winning a silver medal at the Khelo India Youth Games in 2020. Influenced by his favorite player, Sunil Malik, who also plays in his position, he dreams of representing India on larger stages. Currently pursuing a Second Year Bachelor of Arts, he balances education with his athletic aspirations, aiming for even greater heights in kabaddi.
