Richhpal Jaat

Richhpal Jat, born on July 28, 2003, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is a rising star in the world of kabaddi. Growing up in a close-knit family, he is the youngest among eight siblings, including five brothers and two sisters. Although his father, Ramuram, is no longer with them, the values of dedication and hard work instilled in him from a young age continue to guide Richhpal's journey. Richhpal began playing kabaddi at the age of 15, inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of his village where everyone engaged in the sport. His love for the game led him to the Mohit Narwal Kabaddi Academy in Gurgaon, where he honed his skills under the guidance of his coach, Mohit Narwal. As a Right Raider, Richhpal is particularly known for his exceptional kick and has a special fondness for the Bonus skill. His journey recently included participation in the Yuva Kabaddi Series Summer Edition 2023 with the Periyar Panthers and competing in Khelo India Youth Games. Richhpal aspires to reach greater heights in kabaddi while pursuing his undergraduate studies in Physical Education. Inspired by his favorite player, Naveen Kumar Goyat, he aims to emulate his speed and skill, fueling his determination to make a mark in the sport he loves.
