Meet Hariom Chaudhary, a vibrant young kabaddi player from Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Born on July 20, 2003, he was raised in a warm household by his father, Jagat Singh Chaudhary, a devoted farmer, and his mother, Jagvati, a caring homemaker. Growing up with his elder siblings, Krishnveer and Aarti, his family may not have pursued kabaddi, but they’ve always encouraged him to follow his dreams. Hariom’s sporting journey began at age 14, nurturing a love for cricket before he stumbled upon kabaddi. It didn’t take long for this sport to capture his heart. Under the guidance of coach Sandeep Singh at Lohagarh Stadium, he honed his skills, specializing as a Left Raider, with his signature moves being the Bonus and Jump. His perseverance shines through in his achievements, including being named Best Raider at a tournament in Tamil Nadu, where he won a bicycle. He also proudly represented his state in the Khelo India Youth Games, earning a silver medal. As he studies for a Master’s Degree in Arts, Hariom dreams of donning the national jersey to showcase his talent on the kabaddi field. His determination and passion for the sport are bound to inspire those around him.
