Meet Mahipal, a passionate kabaddi player hailing from the vibrant town of Churu in Rajasthan. Born on January 1, 2002, he grew up in a close-knit family, nurtured by his father, Palaram, a hardworking farmer, and his mother, Tija Devi, a dedicated housewife. Surrounded by a brother and an elder sister, Mahipal’s journey into sports began at a mere age of eight, where he innocently watched the seniors play and dreamt of being on that same mat. Professionally stepping into kabaddi in 2014, Mahipal honed his skills under the guidance of his esteemed coach, Bhodhuram Rewad, at Sadul Sports School in Bikaner. His impressive skills, especially in executing bonus raids, have made him a formidable left raider on the field. Among his proud achievements are standout performances in the Khelo India Youth Games, where he made headlines with his first super raid and also in PKL Season 9 with UP Yoddhas where he got a super raid in his first raid itself. Currently, Mahipal is not just chasing his kabaddi dreams but also balancing studies in an undergraduate course while working with the Rajasthan Police. With aspirations to don the national jersey one day, his eyes are set on success, inspired by senior players like Indraj, also know as Balaji, from his village. As he trains with the Rajasthan Police Team, Mahipal is determined to leave his mark in the world of kabaddi, fueled by passion and relentless dedication.
