Praveen was born on September 21, 2004, in the picturesque town of Hanumangadh, Rajasthan, where the values of hard work were instilled in him from a young age. Raised in a nurturing environment with his father Prahlad, a dedicated farmer, and his mother Krishna, a housewife, Praveen learned the importance of perseverance. He has an elder brother named Vijay, who, while not part of the kabaddi scene, has always supported Praveen in his dreams. At just 15 years old, Praveen found his passion for kabaddi while watching senior players in his village. This moment ignited a love for the sport and he decided to become a Left Corner Defender, perfecting his skills with his favorite technique, the Ankle Hold. His training journey took him to Maharishi Dayanand University in Rohtak, where he has been shaped by the expertise of his coach, Praveen Rathi. As part of the Panchala Pride team participating in the Yuva Kabaddi Series Summer Edition 2022, Praveen is determined to leave his mark in kabaddi. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports, his ultimate aspiration is to represent India on the international stage, drawing inspiration from his favorite player, Sunil Kumar. With unwavering commitment and a deep love for the game, Praveen is poised for a bright future.
