Born on March 11, 2000, in the quaint town of Chinnaganjam, Andhra Pradesh, Gali Lakshma Reddy embodies the spirit of determination and passion. Growing up in a humble household with his father, Anjireddy, working as a farmer and his mother, Dhanamma, managing the home, the values of hard work were instilled in him from a young age. Having two elder siblings, Raju and Thrupathamma, Lakshma always had a supportive family cheering him on as he ventured into the world of sports at the age of fifteen. His kabaddi journey began under the guidance of the inspiring coach Sreekanth at the SKY Academy in Vijayawada. As an all-rounder, he has quickly made a name for himself, excelling as a Right Raider and Left Corner Defender. His favorite skills, the running hand touch and ankle hold, showcase his agile and dynamic playing style. Inspired by Pawan Sehrawat, Lakshma continuously strives to elevate his game. With notable participation in events like the Junior Nationals in 2018 and a bright future ahead at the Senior Nationals in 2024, he is on the rise. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree, Lakshma dreams of donning the national jersey to represent India. With unwavering dedication, the future looks incredibly promising for this young athlete.
