Meet Prince Kumar Roy, a vibrant young kabaddi player hailing from the picturesque village of Teen Pahad, Sutiyarpara in Jharkhand. Born on January 2, 2004, Prince grew up in a humble family where his father, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Ray, works as a farmer and his mother, Mrs. Reena Ray, keeps the home running smoothly as a housewife. He shares a close bond with his little sister, Naina, though she hasn’t yet ventured into kabaddi. Prince’s journey into the world of kabaddi began at the age of 14, inspired by the spectacular performances of Ajay Thakur during the Pro Kabaddi League. His dedication took him to training sessions coached by Md. Khurram Shoaib and Prashant Raj, along with his district coach, Sanjay Kumar Bhagat. His hard work at Lajpat Park in Bhaghalpur, Bihar has allowed him to develop his skills, particularly in running hand touch and toe touch. When he's not on the mat, Prince is pursuing his education, having recently completed his B.Com degree. His aspiration is clear: he dreams of securing a job in defense and representing India on the kabaddi field. Inspired by his favorite player, Rohit Kumar, Prince is motivated by his confidence and skill, hoping to emulate that same attitude as he continues to grow in this exciting sport.
