Himanshu Rawat is a vibrant young kabaddi talent from Udam Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. Born on June 24, 2001, he was inspired to step into the world of kabaddi at the tender age of 12, fueled by his admiration for the legendary Jaideep Dahiya. Now a dedicated Left Cover Defender, Himanshu has honed his skills under the guidance of Coach Gaurav Upadhyay, who helped him develop from the ground up. Family plays a vital role in Himanshu's life. His father, Badar Singh Rawat, serves as a sepoy in the Uttarakhand Police, while his elder brother, Manoj, follows in his footsteps. This strong support system keeps Himanshu grounded as he juggles his passion for kabaddi and his pursuit of a Master’s degree. He often practices at the Udhar Singh Nagar ground, where his community rallies behind him, encouraging him to excel and make a name for himself. Himanshu has already made strides in his career, representing teams like the Tadoba Tigers in the YKS Monsoon Edition and participating in various national competitions. His ultimate dream is to make his mark in the Pro Kabaddi League, where he hopes to inspire the next generation of players, just as he was inspired. With skills like blocking and a love for the sport, Himanshu's journey is just beginning, and the future looks bright.
