Tejavath Srinath was born on August 14, 2001, in the serene village of Somaran, Telangana. Growing up in a close-knit family, he was inspired by his uncle, a kabaddi player, which sparked his interest in the sport at the age of fourteen. Balancing his dreams with education, he is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Arts while making strides in his kabaddi career. Now based in Hyderabad, Tejavath is a stipend player for Union Bank and trains diligently at the Sports Authority of India in Telangana, honing his skills under the guidance of coach Srinivas Reddy.
