Ritik Thakre, born on May 25, 2005, in Indore City, Madhya Pradesh, is a rising star in the world of Kabaddi. His journey began at the age of ten, thanks to his uncle Bhushan, who introduced him to the sport. Coming from a supportive family, although his parents had initial concerns, his uncle Manish Thakre stood by him, fueling Ritik's passion for Kabaddi. Training diligently at the Sports Authority of India in Gandhi Nagar, Ritik has carved out a niche for himself as a Right Raider. His favorite moves, the toe touch and jump, showcase his athleticism and skill on the mat. Over the years, he has represented Madhya Pradesh in various competitions, including the Khelo India events and Junior Nationals. A significant achievement was securing the first position at the Junior National level in 2023, reflecting his hard work and dedication. Currently in the 11th standard, Ritik manages to balance his education with his love for Kabaddi. With dreams of securing a government job and representing India on the international stage, he is determined to one day play in the Pro Kabaddi League.
