Growing up under the loving guidance of his father, Gurnam Singh, a factory supervisor, and his mother, Parveen Kumari, a dedicated homemaker, he found his passion for kabaddi at the tender age of 15 while watching local tournaments. It's inspiring how a simple watch turned into an unyielding commitment. Under the mentorship of Coach Sanjeev Thakur, he honed his skills for nearly eight years at the Khelo India Centre in Rajpura, Haridwar. His favorite skills currently revolve around the jump and escape, highlighting his agility on the mat. He looks up to kabaddi star Naveen Kumar Goyat for inspiration, admiring his cool demeanor and impressive defensive techniques. This player has already made notable strides in his journey, securing gold medals at significant events, including Khelo India and All India tournaments. He even represented Himachal Pradesh at the Junior and Senior National levels. As he continues his undergraduate studies, his eyes are set on representing Team India one day. With unwavering dedication and talent, the future looks bright for this aspiring kabaddi star.
