Umesh Panwar

Umesh is a young and passionate kabaddi player hailing from the lively town of Klayat in Haryana, born on November 23, 2002. Growing up with his mother, Santosh, and two brothers, Rakesh and Mukesh, Umesh was immersed in a household filled with love and encouragement. His late father, Rajkumar, laid the foundation for Umesh's dreams, nurturing his spirit and reinforcing his passion for the sport. It was at the tender age of 14 that Umesh was inspired to step onto the kabaddi mat. The phenomenal skills displayed by local players ignited a fire in him, and he knew he wanted to be part of that world. Under the guidance of coach Dilbag Singh at the Pai village ground in Kaithal, he quickly found his niche as a Right Raider. His expertise shines through in hand touches, and he loves to impress the audience with his incredible jumping abilities on the mat. As Umesh pursues a Bachelor of Arts degree, he is determined to carve his path in the Pro Kabaddi League. His journey has already been remarkable, with silver medals won at the Junior Nationals in 2022 and the Khelo India events in 2023. With unwavering support from his family and the spirit of kabaddi driving him, Umesh looks forward to achieving his dreams both on and off the mat.
