Vijay Kumar, born on May 10, 2001, in the quaint village of Dalamwala, Jhind, Haryana, has always been captivated by the world of kabaddi. Growing up, he watched local players showcase their skills with passion and teamwork, which ignited his own interest in the sport. At the age of 17, he embraced the challenge of becoming a player himself. Now a Right Corner Defender, Vijay has developed a strong reputation for his defensive strategies, particularly excelling at the Ankle Hold technique. Under the guidance of coach Dilbagh Singh at the Pai School, he practices regularly to refine his skills. Vijay finds inspiration in his favorite player, Ravinder Pahal, whose impressive thigh hold moves motivate him to elevate his own game. In his promising, albeit young career, Vijay has participated in notable tournaments, including the Yuva Kabaddi Series Summer Edition with the Murthal Magnets and the Khelo All India University event in Noida. As a dedicated student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree, he dreams of making a significant impact on the kabaddi scene, just like his idols. With a loving family supporting him and a fierce desire to succeed, Vijay is all set to chase his dreams in the game he loves.
