Rohit was born on September 19, 2001, in the charming village of Patauda, Haryana. Raised in a close-knit farming family, with his father Maan Singh working the fields and his mother Babita managing the home, Rohit has always embraced his roots. His journey in kabaddi began at the young age of 15, sparked by the excitement he felt while watching local players battle it out. This passion ignited a dream that he is now fiercely pursuing. As a Right Raider, Rohit has a special talent for the “flying hand touch,” a skill he refined under Coach Dilbagh Singh at the Pai School. His hard work led him to shine as a super sub for the U Mumba team in the Pro Kabaddi League, marking significant milestones like his participation in the Yuva Kabaddi Series Summer Edition in 2022 and competing at both Junior and Senior National Championships. With a Bachelor of Arts degree now under his belt, Rohit is not just focused on kabaddi. He dreams of achieving great things in life, following the mantra of self-confidence and resilience inspired by his favorite player, Seld. Supported by his elder brother Devinder, Rohit trains passionately every day, ever committed to making a name for himself in the sport he loves.
