Ramkumar S

Ramkumar S was born on June 25, 1999, in Killai, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, where he currently resides. His father's name is Senji M, and his mother, Rani M, is a housewife. He has an elder sister named Priya and a younger sister named Radhika. Despite his siblings not playing kabaddi, Ramkumar developed an interest in the sport from a young age, particularly because kabaddi is quite famous in his village. Starting in the 5th standard, Ramkumar began playing kabaddi. He primarily plays as a Left Raider and excels in the Bonus skill. His coach, Datchanamoothy, guides him in his training, which takes place at the Sathya Shri Ram Ground. Pawan Sehrawat is Ramkumar's favorite kabaddi player, admired for his raiding skills. Apart from kabaddi, Ramkumar enjoys playing volleyball. He currently works as a Forest Guard in the Forest Department. Ramkumar has represented his district and state in kabaddi and has participated in various tournaments, including the Senior Nationals in 2019 and the South Zone University tournament at Vels University in 2020, where his team secured the 2nd place. One of his career highlights was playing in a local tournament for Cuddalore district in 2019, where they defeated a strong team, Durgaambigai ICF Chennai. Ramkumar's future aspiration is to play in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), reflecting his passion and dedication to the sport.
