S Krishna Kumar

Krishna Kumar S was born on February 5, 2001, in the lively city of Bangalore, Karnataka. Growing up, he was drawn to football, but life took an unexpected turn when he discovered kabaddi at the age of 19. With the unwavering support of his family—his father Shanti Lal, a business owner, and his mother Huka Devi, a devoted housewife—Krishna embraced this new passion wholeheartedly. He has an elder brother, Rahul Kumar. To refine his skills, Krishna trains rigorously at the renowned Sree Kanteerava Stadium, where he learns under the guidance of Coach B C Ramesh. As a Right Corner Defender, his specialty lies in the ankle hold, a technique he practices tirelessly. His journey includes participating in the YKS editions, where he showcased his talent with teams like Vijayanagara Veers and Hampi Heroes. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree after completing a Postgraduate diploma, Krishna dreams of making his mark in the Pro Kabaddi League. With a heart full of passion and determination, he’s eager to push his boundaries and make a name for himself in the vibrant world of kabaddi.
