Ankit, born on November 1, 2006, in the quaint town of Pakasma, Haryana, has always been surrounded by love and support from his family. With his father, Bijay Kumar, working hard as a farmer and his mother, Mukesh, managing the home, Ankit was inspired by their dedication. As the younger sibling to an elder sister, he found his true calling in kabaddi, a sport that offered him an exciting escape from the demands of school. His journey began at the age of fifteen, when he fell in love with the thrill of kabaddi. Ankit's quick ascent to the position of a Right-Left Raider was fueled by his remarkable jumping ability. Under the attentive eye of his coach, Naveen Kumar, Ankit dedicated himself to honing his skills at the Sports Authority of India center in Sonipat, Haryana. Participating in significant events like the Yuva Kabaddi Series and Khelo India in 2023, Ankit's aspirations are as high as his jumps. He dreams of representing India at the Asian Games and making a mark in the Pro Kabaddi League, ideally with the Patna Pirates. Inspired by the outstanding performances of players such as Rakesh Kumar, Ankit is determined to carve his path in kabaddi, one leap at a time.
