Sahil Ahri

Sahil is a dedicated young kabaddi player hailing from the picturesque village of Ahri in Haryana. Born on April 15, 2001, he has deep roots in his hometown, where he lives with his family. His father, Rakesh Kumar, works tirelessly in farming, while his mother, Sushila Devi, is a devoted housewife. Sahil is not alone in his journey; he has an elder sister, Pushpa, and a younger brother, Rahul, who shares his passion for kabaddi and currently plays for Dabang Delhi in the Pro Kabaddi League. Sahil's kabaddi journey started at the age of 15 when he was captivated by watching senior players compete. The impressive skills of Surender Nada inspired him to dive headfirst into the sport. Under the guidance of his coach, Ravinder Nada, and with countless hours of practice on the local ground in Ahri, Sahil quickly established himself as a noteworthy Right Cover Defender, known for his exceptional thigh hold. With a Bachelor of Arts degree under his belt, Sahil aspires to wear the Indian jersey one day. He admires players like Manjeet Chillar for their aggression and skill, hoping to emulate their success while inspiring future generations of athletes along the way.
