Ankit Dhull

Ankit Dhull, born on July 25, 2007, in the quaint village of Pai, Haryana, has always been captivated by the intensity of kabaddi. Growing up, he watched in awe as senior players displayed their incredible skills on the mat. This inspired him to pursue the sport himself at just 14 years old, eager to carve out his own place in this thrilling game. Under the watchful eye of coach Dilbagh Singh at his local school, Ankit has embraced his role as a Right Raider. He’s particularly proud of his hand touch technique, which he has mastered through countless hours of practice. Ankit looks up to Pawan Shehrawat, a star in the Pro Kabaddi League who shares his position and passion. This motivation fuels Ankit’s dreams of making a name for himself in kabaddi. His journey has seen him achieve notable milestones, including a celebrated victory at the Gotegaon tournament, a prominent event in North India. Recently, he represented Haryana at the junior state level in 2023, marking a significant achievement in his young career. Family is the backbone of Ankit's life. With his father, Rajesh Kumar, dedicated to farming, and his mother, Sunita, supporting him as a homemaker, Ankit is driven by their unwavering belief in him. With aspirations of competing in the Pro Kabaddi League and representing India on the international stage, Ankit Dhull is a promising talent to watch as he continues to pursue his kabaddi dreams.
