Sushant Raj

Sushant Raj, born on February 5, 2006, in Hajipur, Bihar, is a passionate and ambitious young kabaddi player with a heart full of dreams. Growing up in a loving family, he had his mother, Rekha Devi, supporting him as a housewife, while his late father, Sanoj Rai, instilled a drive in him that continues to motivate him today. Alongside Sushant is his younger sister, Akriti, who may not play kabaddi herself but is his biggest cheerleader. Sushant's journey in kabaddi began at just 14 years old, transforming a childhood game into a serious passion. Training under the attentive guidance of coach Rupender Singh at the Dev Kabaddi Academy in Patna, he honed his skills as a formidable Left Cover Defender. Known for his exceptional blocking abilities, Sushant looks up to his favorite player, Pardeep Narwal, particularly admiring Narwal's signature dubki move. Although he is yet to step onto larger competitive stages, Sushant's thirst for learning keeps his spirits high. He dreams of gracing the Pro Kabaddi League, fully committed to carving out his place in the sport he loves so dearly. With determination and enthusiasm, Sushant Raj is eagerly preparing for the future, ready to embrace every opportunity that comes his way.
