Born on October 25, 2004, in the lively city of Bangalore, Chetan G has already begun his journey in the kabaddi world. He comes from a humble background, with his father Govindaraju A driving an autorickshaw and his mother Ambuja working tirelessly as a tailor. Growing up alongside his supportive elder brother Tarun, Chetan learned the importance of perseverance and hard work early in life. Chetan’s passion for kabaddi sparked when he was just 14 years old. As a Left Raider, he has distinguished himself with exceptional kicking skills, especially his favorite move, the toe touch. His dedication to the sport has led him to train under renowned coach Bharathi, a retired lady coach who has multiplied his skills at various clubs like SDM Sports Club in Mangalore and Amruth Sports Club in Bangalore. He looks up to Pardeep Narwal, admiring his champion-like moves, particularly the dubki style. Currently in his first year of Bachelor of Business Administration, Chetan is striving to strike a balance between his studies and kabaddi aspirations. Dreaming of a stable government job one day, he is determined to make his family and the kabaddi community proud while honing his talent for the sport he loves.
