Born on April 1, 2004, in the lively city of Bengaluru, Vikas D is a kabaddi player who embodies the spirit of determination and hard work. Growing up as an only child in a supportive family, with his father Dinesh L working as a farmer and his mother Roopa dedicating her time to the home, Vikas learned the values of perseverance early on. His journey into kabaddi began at the age of 13, when he discovered a thrilling passion for the sport that would shape his future. Under the guidance of Coach Kiran at HMT Colony Boys, Vikas sharpened his skills and quickly carved a niche for himself as a Left Cover Defender. His favorite move, the dash, highlights his agility and strategic mind, making him a strong competitor on the mat. Inspired by Surjeet Singh's aggressiveness and consistency, Vikas pushes himself daily to improve and excel. Balancing his training with his studies in commerce, he is currently in his final year of undergraduate education. Proudly representing Bengaluru City University, Vikas has made impressive strides at the South Zone University tournaments and has set his sights on joining the Pro Kabaddi League. With dreams as big as his heart, this young athlete is ready to leave his mark on the kabaddi world.
