Meet Tarun Singh Rajawat, a spirited young kabaddi player hailing from the vibrant village of Bhadsimba in Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh. Born on December 1, 2006, Tarun's story began at just 11 years old when he watched the thrilling matches of Pro Kabaddi on television. Instantly inspired, he decided to embrace the sport that beats in the heart of so many in India. With guidance from his coach, Liyakhat from Tarana village, Tarun honed his skills, particularly excelling as a Left Corner Defender. His favorite move, the Back Hold, showcases his agility and strength on the mat. Regular practice at the Azad Club in Tarana has equipped him with a solid foundation in kabaddi. Despite the challenges, his determination led to significant milestones, including being selected for the Yuva Kabaddi Series and participating in the School Nationals in 2020. Family plays a vital role in Tarun's life. He shares a warm bond with his father Vijendra, a farmer, and his mother Rajkumari, a homemaker, alongside his elder sister, Tanu. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Studies, Tarun dreams of one day representing the Indian kabaddi team and showcasing his talent in the Pro Kabaddi League. As he looks ahead, his love for kabaddi shines brightly, fueled by passion and aspiration.
