Anish Anant Gad, born on November 22, 2004, in Mhapsa, Goa, has always had a passion for kabaddi. Growing up in a vibrant household led by his father Anand, who runs a milk distribution and vehicle rental business, and his homemaker mother Ankita, Anish found inspiration in the rhythm of sports. With an elder sister, Amisha, who supports their father's business, Anish knew he wanted to chart his own path. His journey into kabaddi began in the fourth standard, a decision fueled by countless hours spent watching the sport. Under the nurturing guidance of his school coach, Kalpana Teacher, Anish honed his skills as a left corner defender. Further training by Franky Sir deepened his technique, particularly in his favorite move, the ankle hold. Currently practicing at Sant Sairoba College's ground in Perne, Anish is driven to improve every day. Anish’s standout moment came during a local league semi-final when he impressively tackled renowned player Nihal Sawardesai. Looking ahead, his dream is to play in the Pro Kabaddi League, where he hopes to shine on the big stage and be seen by fans across the nation. With dedication and dreams in his heart, Anish is on a thrilling journey that many will surely cheer for.
