Suresh Mahadev Hadpad, born on January 24, 2005, in Jalapur, Karnataka, has an inspiring story that blends family, ambition, and the pursuit of kabaddi. Growing up in a large family of six siblings, Suresh learned the values of teamwork and perseverance early on. His father, Mahadev, had been a driver, while his mother, Gurubai, worked at the Goa Shipyard. Family plays a crucial role in Suresh's life, and each sibling has carved out their path, from running a salon to becoming an air conditioning technician. Suresh's kabaddi journey began in the sixth grade when a friend piqued his interest by sharing unforgettable tales of the legendary Rahul Choudhary. Despite limited facilities, Suresh found ways to hone his skills, practicing on the beach under the guidance of his coach, Yogesh Desai. It was there he developed a fondness for the hand touch and kick skills, inspired by players like Aslam Inamdar and Shivam Patare, whom he admires for their finesse and agility. Currently in his second year of a Bachelor of Commerce program, Suresh recently showcased his talent at the Inter College games, earning a spot in the University Games. With dreams of one day competing in the Pro Kabaddi League, he also harbors aspirations of becoming a teacher, hoping to inspire the next generation of athletes. Suresh’s story is just beginning, and with his dedication and passion, the future looks bright.
