Prasad Santoshrao Bhagat was born on May 13, 2002, in the charming town of Chandubajar Amrawati, Maharashtra. Growing up in a close-knit family, Prasad was raised by his supportive parents, Santoshrao, a sole trader, and Hemlata, a dedicated homemaker. Being an only child, he often found companionship in his passion for sports, especially kabaddi. Prasad's journey into kabaddi kicked off at the age of 15, driven by his love for the game and inspired by his favorite player, Aslam Inamdar. He admired Aslam's unique skills, particularly his impressive bounce and footwork. Prasad trains hard at Jagdamba Krida Mandal, honing his craft under the guidance of coach Suyog Varle. Playing as a left raider, he especially enjoys executing the Dubki maneuver, which showcases his agility and quick thinking. One of Prasad's most thrilling moments came during a state match in 2021, where he secured victory with a nail-biting last raid, scoring two crucial points for his team. Now in his Second Year Bachelor of Science course, he balances academics with his love for kabaddi. As he looks toward the future, Prasad dreams of making a name for himself in Pro Kabaddi, while also finding joy in cricket.
