Aditya Shankar Pangul, born on March 3, 2001, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, has always had a deep connection to the sport of kabaddi. Growing up in a supportive family, his father, Shankar Keshavrao Pangul, a cycle repair shop owner, inspired him with tales of his playing days. Aditya began his journey into kabaddi at the young age of 15, eager to follow in his father's footsteps. He currently resides in his hometown, where he also works at a local CEAT company. An all-rounder specializing as a right raider and right corner defender, Aditya trains under the guidance of Coach Anup Vasantrao Avari at the New Vision Sporting Club in Butibori. His favorite skill is the hand touch, and he particularly admires Pawan Sehrawat for his ability to manage pressure situations and lead his team effectively. One of Aditya's proudest moments came during a local tournament, where a super tackle he executed secured victory for his team—an experience that truly ignited his passion. With aspirations of playing for Pro Kabaddi and representing India, Aditya is also pursuing his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Physical Education. As he balances his studies, work, and sport, he dreams of making his mark on the kabaddi world.
