Nawaz Dilshan was born on April 21, 2006, in the charming town of Bhadodih Jhumritilaiya Koderma, nestled in Jharkhand. He grew up in a close-knit family, with his father, Mirza Nayeem Beg, working as a plumbing supervisor and his mother, Anwari Khatun, being a dedicated housewife. Nawaz has two sisters, Sahiba Praveen and Aliya Praveen, who have always cheered him on, though they don't share his passion for kabaddi. Nawaz’s journey into kabaddi began at the age of 15 when he participated in his first school tournament. Training under the guidance of his coaches, Sunil Kumar Saw and Dharmendra Singh, he honed his skills, quickly becoming a formidable Right Corner Defender. His favorite move, the Double Thigh Hold, mirrors the techniques of his idol, Sandeep Narwal, who inspires him to push the boundaries of his game. His passion for kabaddi led him to notable achievements, including a gold medal at the 18th Junior State Tournament in Jharkhand, where he was recognized as the best defender. Currently pursuing an undergraduate course, Nawaz dreams of turning his love for kabaddi into a career, hoping to play in Pro Kabaddi and represent India on an international stage. With his determination and talent, the future looks bright for this young athlete.
