Born on January 6, 2005, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Amit Singh Tomar stands as a shining example of youthful aspiration mixed with hard work. Raised in a household rich with values, Amit has always been encouraged by his loving parents—his father, Santhosh Singh Tomar, works diligently as a police officer, while his mother, Sunita Devi, provides unwavering support as a devoted housewife. Surrounded by his elder brother Rahul, who is passionate about wrestling, and sister Pooja, Amit's familial environment has greatly shaped his journey. Amit’s adventure into the world of kabaddi began at the tender age of 15, sparked by the extraordinary skills of his favorite player, Pardeep Narwal. As an all-rounder, he has honed his talents in various defensive positions, excelling particularly in chain tackles and the exhilarating dubki. His time at Khel Kabaddi Academy under coach J S Parmar has been instrumental in his growth as a player. In 2023, Amit proudly represented Madhya Pradesh at the Junior National Championships, marking a significant milestone in his burgeoning career. While kabaddi holds a special place in his heart, he also enjoys football and badminton, previously competing at the national level in football for the Bhopal region. Now pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree, Amit dreams of securing a government job while nurturing hopes of donning the Indian jersey on the kabaddi mat one day. With his determination and passion, the future looks bright for this promising young talent!
