Raman Singh, born on February 21, 2004, in Himachal Pradesh, has a heart full of dreams and ambitious plans for the future. Growing up in a close-knit family with his father, Indarjeet Singh, a driver, and his mother, Kulwantkoar Indarjeet Singh, a dedicated homemaker, Raman was first introduced to the thrilling world of kabaddi at the young age of ten while watching local tournaments. Playing as a Right Corner Defender, Raman has honed his skills, particularly excelling at the thigh hold technique and his favorite skill, the block. His dedication has paid off; he proudly made a stunning Golden Raid during the Junior National tournament in 2024, a moment he cherishes. Raman's journey has also included participation in the Khelo India event in 2021 and various state competitions. His aspirations continue to soar. Raman dreams of representing India one day, inspired by his favorite player, Maninder Singh. When he’s not on the kabaddi field, he enjoys playing cricket and spending time with his younger brother, Gajindar. With his unwavering determination and passion for the sport, the future looks bright for this young athlete from the hills of Himachal.
