Jatin Verma is a young and aspiring kabaddi player hailing from the picturesque town of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. Born on August 10, 2004, this energetic talent began his journey into the world of kabaddi at the age of 14, inspired by his relative Mahender Singh, a player from the U.P. Yoddhas. His family, particularly his father, Sri Muni Lal Thakur, who works as a government employee, and his mother, Smt. Jayvanti Devi, a dedicated homemaker, have always been his pillar of support. He also shares a close bond with his younger brother, Abhishek Verma, who plays hockey. Currently training at the Krishna Academy in Bilaspur, Jatin has honed his skills under the guidance of Coach Choudhary and Coach Sandeep. Known for his prowess as an all-rounder, he excels in both right cover defender and left corner defender positions. His favorite skill, the Ankle Hold, showcases his quick thinking and agility, while he admires the talent of Surjeet Singh, particularly his dash skill. Balancing sports with academics, Jatin is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree. With dreams of serving in the Indian Army, Jatin is fueled by a passion for his sport and a determination to leave his mark. The journey is just beginning, and he is excited about where it will take him!
