Mahender Singh was born on January 28, 2005, in the picturesque village of Davidarh, Mandi, nestled in Himachal Pradesh. Growing up in a close-knit family, with his father, Sri. Khemraj, working as a farmer and his mother, Smt. Kamla Devi, managing the household, Mahender found his passion for kabaddi at the age of 15, inspired by his sister who previously played the game. Currently residing at the SAI Hostel in Bilaspur, Mahender spends his days honing his skills under the guidance of Coach Pramod and Pooja Ma'am. His favorite position on the mat is as a Right Raider, where he excels particularly with his remarkable running kick. Additionally, he enjoys the thrill of escape and turn techniques, making those moments on the mat exhilarating. Despite being early in his career, Mahender has his eyes set on the future. He dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League, and he is gearing up for his upcoming participation in the Junior Nationals in 2024 representing Himachal Pradesh. Off the field, when he's not immersed in kabaddi, Mahender enjoys playing cricket, but kabaddi is where his heart truly lies. With the support of his family and determination, Mahender is ready to make his mark in the kabaddi world.
