Harsh Dev

Meet Harsh Dev, a vibrant young talent finding his place on the kabaddi scene. Born on August 20, 2007, in the quaint town of Laksar, Uttarakhand, he currently calls Alawalpur his home. With family roots grounded in agriculture, Harsh's father, Sahdev Singh, works as a farmer while his mother, Usha Devi, is a dedicated homemaker. He has an elder sister, Nikita Devi, who supports him in every endeavor. Though she isn't into kabaddi, the family's encouragement plays a crucial role in Harsh's pursuits. Harsh discovered his passion for kabaddi at the age of 12. With a spark of excitement, he began training under the guidance of Coach Kamal Deswal at the Gurukul Sports Academy in Basera. His standout skill is the Hand Touch, but he also enjoys showcasing his agility with a well-timed jump. This dedication paid off as he recently shone in tournaments in Uttar Pradesh and has participated in the SGFI championships representing Uttarakhand. Inspired by his favorite player, Naveen Kumar from Dabang Delhi K.C., Harsh dreams of excelling further in kabaddi. He hopes that one day, his hard work will secure him a job through the sports quota, allowing him to balance his educational journey in the First Year Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports with his sporting aspirations.
