Mohsin Pathan

Mohsin Akbar Pathan, born on February 16, 2003, in Dahigaon ne, Ahmadnagar, Maharashtra, is a talented kabaddi player with aspirations to shine on the professional stage. Hailing from a family rooted in agriculture, with his father Akbar Pathan working as a farmer and his mother Rabbana Akbar Pathan managing the household, Mohsin shares a close bond with his younger brother, Asim Akbar Pathan, and elder sister, Aisha. Mohsin's journey in kabaddi began at the age of 18, inspired by the players in his village who showcased their skills on the kabaddi field. Versatile in his gameplay, Mohsin excels as an All Rounder, demonstrating proficiency in positions such as Right and Left Cover and Right Raider. His standout skill lies in his ability to execute effective Blocks, thwarting opponents' attempts with precision and agility. Under the guidance of esteemed coaches including Sameer Pathan, Niyaz Shaikh, Balram Paigan, Wabale sir, and Ayub Pathan at the SM Patel Foundation in Nanded, Mohsin refines his techniques and hones his gameplay to compete at the highest level. Mohsin draws inspiration from Sunil Dubile, a renowned kabaddi player associated with both the national team and the Bengal Warriors in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). He admires Dubile's raiding prowess and seeks to emulate his success on the kabaddi mat. Mohsin's achievements include representing his state in the 2021 and 2022 tournaments, where his team secured the second-place position. One of his career highlights includes a memorable performance in the quarter-final match during the 2022 state championship against Mumbai Upnagar, despite his team's loss. Beyond kabaddi, Mohsin also enjoys playing cricket and harbors dreams of competing in the Pro Kabaddi League, where he aspires to showcase his talent on a national platform. As he pursues his college education in BA (1st year), Mohsin remains dedicated to honing his skills and achieving his goals in the world of kabaddi.
