
Shubham Digambar Patil, born on May 14, 2002, in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, is deeply rooted in his hometown, where he currently resides. Born into a family with a farming background, Shubham draws inspiration from his father, Digambar Bharat Patil, and his mother, Diksha Digambar Patil, who dutifully tends to their household affairs. Growing up with his elder brother, Omkar Patil, Shubham found his calling in kabaddi at the tender age of 8. Since then, he has displayed exceptional talent as a Left Cover Defender, specializing in formidable front blocks that thwart opponents' advances with precision. Under the guidance of Coach Shailesh Mayekar at Bhate Beach, Ratnagiri, Shubham refines his skills and sharpens his instincts, driven by his admiration for players like Pardeep Narwal, whose exceptional gameplay serves as a source of inspiration. Apart from kabaddi, Shubham also has a keen interest in cricket, showcasing his versatility as a sports enthusiast. Despite his dedication to sports, Shubham has successfully pursued his education, graduating with a BA degree, paving the way for a promising future. One of the highlights of Shubham's career includes his participation in the University Nationals in 2023, held in Madhya Pradesh, a testament to his prowess on the kabaddi court.
