Deepak Patil, born on April 18, 2004, in Bhadale, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, is an aspiring kabaddi player representing the Kolhapur team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Currently residing in Kekhele, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, Deepak's father, Baburao Patil, works as a farmer, while his mother, Vaishali, is a homemaker. He has an elder sister named Sanika, who does not play kabaddi. Deepak's passion for kabaddi led him to start playing at the age of 16. He primarily plays as a Right Corner Defender and is known for his exceptional ankle hold technique. Under the guidance of his coach, Satish Patil, Deepak refines his skills at the Warana Khora Kodoli Club in Kodoli, Kolhapur. Deepak admires Pawan Sehrawat for his skills, particularly his jump and hand touch, which serve as inspiration for his own game. In addition to kabaddi, Deepak enjoys playing cricket. He is currently pursuing a degree in B.Sc and is in his first year of college. Deepak's career highlights include winning a gold medal at the 2023 School State Games in Sangli and finishing third in the KMP 2023 tournament. His aspirations include playing in the Pro Kabaddi League and securing a spot either in the police force or the Indian Army.
