Born on May 4, 2004, in Guhagar, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, Raj Bhosale is a budding Kabaddi talent representing Ratnagiri District in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. His father, Ashish Bhosale, is engaged in the mango business, while his mother, Avantika Bhosale, manages their home. Raj has a younger brother named Aayush Bhosale, who also shares his passion for Kabaddi. Raj's journey in Kabaddi commenced at the age of 12, drawing inspiration from his cousin Roshan Bhosale, a national-level Kabaddi player. Under Roshan's guidance and coaching, Raj has honed his skills, specializing as a Right Raider with a knack for bonus points. Training with the Sriram Duttasevre Kabaddi team in his hometown of Guhagar, Raj admires the legendary Anup Kumar for his expertise in bonus points and hand touches, along with his distinguished career as a former international Kabaddi player and Arjuna Awardee. Raj has showcased his talent in various competitions, including the Junior State Championships in 2023 and the KMP Yuva Kabaddi 2023, where he represented Ratnagiri District. One of his career highlights includes scoring an impressive 40 raid points in a match while serving as the sole raider for his team, Sriram Duttasevare, in a local club tournament. Currently pursuing a Diploma in BCom, Raj harbors aspirations of competing in the Pro Kabaddi League and representing the Indian Kabaddi Team on the international stage.
